the odds are colossal despite the apostles
of academia
they insist no design, no purpose, outline
sense anemia,
consult the scientific media,
and encyclopedias

we’re all just a fluke, a cosmic spewed puke
that’s Babylonian
not modern, not reasoned, just silly unseasoned
non-Newtonian
not the obvious natural conclusion
less science, more theologian
