Dismiss

he belonged to higher purpose
he was on a special mission
to be the very best box tortoise
was his dearest desire, ambition

but he was far and away too fast
on his skateboard spinning along
for ambling he was sorely miscast
for slow motion he was to head strong

so in the race against the rabbit
slow and steady was not his race
he was the best in all the bracket
dismissed though on account of skates
