X Files: Fight the Future (1998) (30 Year Rewatch)

As a movie, Fight the Future is fine. As an extended episode of the X Files, it would be one of the better ones. It does a nice job of coalescing the mythology of the show thus far. It also gives us some concrete reality that has often been ambiguous. The truth, it seems, is out there. The next couple of seasons have a lot of good episodes, but I’m not sure this isn’t the high point of the series.
