Ice

spice, spice, lady…
land of sand
and worms
is like hades

no one wants to stop
in a monochrome land
but somehow, up they pop
in every fantasy brand

if it isn’t desert hot
it’s an ice world just as bad
from the icy planet Hoth
to Starkiller Base command

me?
give me a planet where there’re ecological zones
variety, diversity, and plants as well as stones
and ice?
sure
as long as it’s mostly at the poles
