False Hopes (23:16)

a pastor told his naïve trusting flock 
who looked to him for guidance and wise talk 
"it’s ok to be connected 
to an integrity-less huckster elected 
as long as he tells you what you want 

when it comes to weighing options and schemes 
between character and the American dream 
always go with expedient 
instead of the obedient 
cause you can’t trust God for things to fall as they need"
