"New Wine"
“Make of me whatever, you want me to be.”
This is one of those repetitive, meditative songs that I don’t usually like. But the thought it dwells on is an important one. Christianity these days seems to often be about what God can do for us. It should always be about what we can do for God and His kingdom. People focus on how God can help us avoid, or quickly get out of hardships. Instead, we should ask how God is using those hardships to shape us into the creation He wants us to be. Not a fun song, but one we ought to sing more.
