Next on the list is my favorite Halloween movie—no, not a horror movie—and Capra’s funniest effort. The story of the newlywed trying to get away for his honeymoon while managing an insanely murderous family is not the scare-fest you would think. Carey Grant is at his comic best and Capra at his least sappy.
