Camping
What is worse?
I can’t decide.
The rock in the
low of my back,
or the sound on
the other side
of this thin
aged weather-worn
tarp between me
and the wide, wide
wood. Cracks, snaps, and,
perhaps… a horn?
No. It’s more
like the sad howl
of a wolf who’s
calling the pack.
With any luck
maybe an owl
is just hoo…
Nope. It’s surely
something quite huge!
So how does one
seal up one’s tent
more securely?
I can’t decide.
