Book Find: Does It Fart?

This past Christmas, my kids gave me one of the coolest books I have ever read: “Does It Fart?” Born from online conversations and questions a couple of zoologists were bombarded with, it accumulates all the limited knowledge science has about animals and the gas they pass.

Did you know some animals appear to communicate through flatulence? How about that there are animals that use their gas to kill their prey? That not all animals fart? Sea cucumbers don’t, for example, but instead they have fish who live in their “butts” that live off eating their gonads which constantly regenerate! Everyone really should have this book, as it is a bountiful source of some of the most interesting trivia known to man. With this book, you could let people know which animal has the longest flatulence. (Up to an hour-long single burst!)
