NonModern in 2018
2018 was a crazy year. I had to do a lot of traveling. (30 flights, 7 countries, 4 currencies) I had to prepare for and embark on a year away from home in Germany. I did a lot of living out of suitcases. I am ending the year in the mountains away from strong internet and contact. And yet, I’ve managed a semi-consistent discipline here, if not a consistent quality!
The big projects in 2018 were completing commentaries on John’s Epistles, Revelation, Genesis, and Jonah, and starting Matthew, and Exodus. I started a project to update my top films list for the first time in 20 years, and I did another series of Poetry Scales.
