Poltergeist

as you can see
there’s reason for my fear
sitting at the table
when what should I hear
all the dishes I own
everyone on the shelf
was cast across the room
by some mischievous elf
it had to be a bogey
a boggart, a spectre
I think we need to call
the local ghost detector

did I install the shelf?
the one now on the floor?
