Futurist

promise a hard destination
work and courage contract
dreams and ideation
unconventional, abstract

or conmen with selective memories
offer ease and their own set of facts
visions of civilization
existing in fantasies past

to yesterdays poorly remembered
fear has us running back
serving old Egyptians
a nation amnesiac
