Raconteur

have you heard
the one
about
the man
who was
so good
at spinning

a yarn that
it came
to life
and knit
the world
in knots
while grinning

he told his
tales in
such a
way that
it made
sense to
be sinning

and we’ve told
ourselves
the same
sad lie
since right
near the
beginning
