Pitch

I toss this out for
Your consideration that
The tone is all wrong

The slope is very
Precarious and icy
And sounds like a gong

A dark and sticky
Zeitgeist’s come back to haunt us
A dirge is its song

We need a moral
Concert pitch recovery
And a conductor

Who isn’t such a schlong*
