New Top 100 Film Lists
20 years ago, long before this blog began, I started keeping track of and reviewing all the films I watched. It all started with an attempt at a “Top 100” list inspired by AFI’s list. These two decades later, it is time to revisit that list.
The way I intend to do it is, first, by cheating. I am going to create 3 lists. One containing movies released before 1973. One with movies released between 1973 and 1998. And a final one containing films released since 1998.
And, I will take my time doing it. I will reveal 3 slots on each list every week on a new page at the top of the blog, with short blurbs about each film in a post. I also plan on doing more extensive pieces on one of those films most weeks.
