We all lament the advent of a “post-truth” culture.
The news of the day is whatever we choose
When truth is rejected and facts are butchered
Never mind the fact that it isn’t fact, isn’t news
Then again, such a thing used to be called a lie
“Post-truth” seems like a polite way to say false
It’s gotten to where you can’t even call a confused man a guy.
Afraid of offending, untruth is our default
