He turned, skirted some headstones and wished he had brought a companion
The nave door too was locked, so he circled to far façade. No door.
Without thought he followed further but the path veered away, in… north

Even in the light this place was eerie
He heard a sound
A crack, a branch, a step? It was quite loud
He retraced his steps his vision bleary
That this the right path was he was leery
His bearing wound
