Death Died Dead

(This is decidedly one of my lesser efforts. I don't feel the tone and the message match very well.  Oh well...)

Death is dead!
Hear what I said?
Death has died,
And now is dead!
Tell your brother,
Tell your friends.
That death has died,
So man might live!
So to the one,
Who's slain the foe,
Let His praises overflow!
Jesus Christ has,
Come and bled.
So death has died,
And Jesus lives!
