Slowly Observe, but Hurry!
Run through the meadows.
Walk among the trees.
Drink with all your senses,
Until your heart is pleased.
Time will have passed,
Before you’re ever done.
Tomorrow will come afresh,
Before the dew melts in the sun.
Arise and go forth.
Beat him to the day.
Catch his appearance,
A glorious, colorful array.
Wake the birds with your presence.
Surprise the fish in the streams.
Slowly observe, but hurry!
For you will never again have this spring.
